Diggers Jr.

Diggers Jr. began when they wanted to do a mini version of the TV series "Diggers" on Nat Geo

We obviously knew we wouldn't be able to get on TV but Andrew has a YouTube channel!

So, on some of the hunts they brought cameras with them. One of our cameras is connected to one of our detectors and the other is sometimes in Andrew or Kevin's hands.

Kevin & Andrew "Diggers Jr" have been digging & metal detecting since late 2015.

They both love metal detecting and find it very addicting.

Almost everyday (assuming the weather is nice) Andrew will ask Kevin (or Kevin will ask Andrew) if he wants to go metal detecting, most of the time the answer is "Yes, I have been waiting all day, lets go!" The horseshoe, Andrew has in his hand they found that day.

Kevin (15 yrs. old)

Kevin received a Garrett Ace 250 on February 9th 2016 and soon after he got it, he had to wait almost a week (due to snow) Then, when he got to use it, finally, at a local park and found great finds like a half of a wheat penny a few newer coins a button with gold on the back and (probably fake) diamonds on the front. On the day Kevin & Andrew found the half of a wheat penny and the button they wanted to spend all day long to some find more "goodies"

Andrew (13 yrs. old)

Andrew Received his first ever metal detector on February 9th 2016.

He loves metal detecting and when ever he sees a coin in the hole he yells,

"Roundness in the hole!" One time when he dug a gold button with diamonds (probably fake)

He ran around the field yelling and going nuts. Andrew hopes to have a career for a long time and his dream is to be able to metal detect with the Diggers in the future. Andrew doesn't really have a nickname although when Andrew was digging a hole there was lots of sand so Kevin called Andrew "Sandyfingers" Andrew didn't really like that nickname, so since Andrew gets a lot of pull tabs Kevin now calls Andrew "pully" Andrew is OK with that name.
